THOUGHTS FOR A SUNDAY....
I've been spiritually fed
by friends who sent me an invitation to their open heart.
welcoming me as i am
ruffled, worn down and exhausted.
they saved a spot for me in the comfiness of their caring
and offered an embrace
a smile
a nod of encouragement
a look of love.
I accepted
and cried with them in joy
together we have found the truth.
love is no place for strangers.
i dine on their savory treats
and leave filled
with hope
that i
may share that love too,
with you.
During the summer time the heat keeps us inside. It's a great time to catch up on reading and writing. Pull out those journals and jot down your thoughts. There's tons to write about. What did you feel when you last read your scriptures? What kind thing boosted your spirits? What are your dreams for tomorrow? Journals take the hopes in our souls and make them real. Get writing!
