Summer is here!
Heat swells
my toes
my ankles.
My wedding band finger pops
I drink
water, silly!

A Triathlon Team race!
Scott and Ross
and I
Train.
I ooze into my running shoes
and run
myself silly!

The sweat of speed!
It swizzles
down
my red beat face.
I dream of cooler places than my treadmill,
like the pool,
Silly!

School is out!
I with time to train,
do not complain.
But sing
As if the rain runs down me.
Faster, faster!
